How A User Enrolls
- User opens the /create-account form and checks the SMS opt-in checkbox.
- Enrollment proceeds only after SMS consent is explicitly provided (required for this service).
- We then send a one-time verification code by SMS.
- User submits the code to confirm phone ownership.
- Opt-in metadata is stored in the database with timestamp and source context.
SMS Opt-In Disclosure
By checking the SMS consent box and continuing, you agree to receive recurring text messages from My Personalized Fitness Coach related to account verification, account updates, reminders, and two-way coaching communications. Because this is an SMS-first coaching service, SMS consent is a condition of enrollment.
